Motorcade of Generosity
Motorcade of Generosity is the first studio album by American alternative rock band Cake. It was released on 7 February 1994 on Capricorn Records.
Reissue
In Cake's March 12, 2008 newsletter the band announced a re-issue of the album in the form of a "special edition value added Digipak configuration including bonus video content and a Motorcade decal," also mentioning a future release of the album on vinyl. The re-issue was, however, later pushed back. In the June 2nd fan newsletter, Cake announced Upbeat Record's June 9 re-release of "Motorcade of Generosity." On January 14, 2009 a special limited edition orange vinyl re-issue of the album was made available for purchase on the band's official website. It sold out in two days. The band announced plans to release a black vinyl and CD re-issue in the spring.[4]
The album was reissued on CD on June 9, 2009.
